My name is Ania and I have been baking my whole life, from making apple pies with my grandma as a toddler, to taking every baking course I could whilst completing a University degree in architecture. In 2013 I decided baking was the way forward. I took a full time baking and decorating course at University College Birmingham to become a qualified baker, which saw me winning a Silver Award at the Hotelympia Salon Culinaire Competition. I was even personally asked to help with a cake for the new Prince George, collected by Prince William!
After finishing my course I worked for two award winning cake designers in Edinburgh until deciding that I wanted to set up a business I could call my own. I then created Spangles Cakes and I have become dedicated to creating and designing the best quality and best tasting cakes. I love helping customers put their designs together - working from a small initial idea and concept to the fully grown product, and then having that product devoured by happy customers!
